Alan Roubik
Bösendorfer Artist Alan Roubik was a child prodigy, having played his organ keyboard by ear at the age of 3. His parents purchased a piano for Alan when they moved into their new home in Monterey Park, California. He was 9 years old at the time, started taking private piano lessons and began composing and performing his own songs. Music remained a hobby until a chance meeting with the legendary producer and artist manager, Joe Gottfried, who told Alan after listening to three original compositions that, “You need to be in this business!” Mentored by Joe, Alan established his own record label (Roubik Records) in 1992 as a launching pad for his own music. His first recording, entitled "Promises", was a hit on over 150 Contemporary Jazz and Adult Contemporary radio stations in the US and abroad. The popularity of this romantic record lead to the production of the music video "Promises," which regularly aired on such programs such as MTV Asia, Star TV, MOR Music and PBS. In 1996, Alan began building his reputation as the most recognized and respected "healing music" artist and producer in the world. His first healing music recording “Hado Music” (later re-titled “The Four Seasons”) became the most popular recording of its kind in Japan, and earned him a place in the National Archives of Japan. Scientifically tested and endorsed by an independent research laboratory in Tokyo lead by best-selling author Masaru Emoto, Alan’s music is said to have the most healing properties of any modern music. His music is used and recommended by doctors, professional athletes and trainers, fitness and yoga instructors, as well as spiritual healers. "I was served grapes by Dr. Emoto's staff on one of my visits to Japan, and was told that the vineyard had played my music throughout the year. The result was incredible: Larger, sweeter tasting grapes! And then I was told that cows were producing more milk when my music was played at ranches. Amazing!" At the age of 16, Alan sustained severe damage to the ulnar nerve in his right arm, making it nearly impossible to move his fingers. Not only immobility, but tremendous pain prevented Alan from competing. Unable to hold a fork or spoon in his right hand, doctors suggested surgery, but Alan refused. He was determined to continue playing the piano, and he began to focus on creating compositions that suited his limited hand movements. Unbeknownst to Alan, he had been utilizing one form of music therapy that would eventually strengthen his hand and allow him full mobility to perform again. Ironically, Alan would later become most well known for his music therapy recordings. Film Score FILM SCORE BY ALAN ROUBIK "Germany and the Secret Genocide", produced/directed by J.
