Water Crystal Music Gallery
In 1995, composer and producer Alan Roubik collaborated with a team of leading Magnetic Resonance technology researchers in a laboratory located in Thousand Oaks, California, exploring the idea that music can be created for the purpose of healing. With the use of a Magnetic Resonance Analyzer (MRA) to monitor physiological changes in test subjects, Maestro Roubik was able to identify positive physiological responses to such variables as sound, rhythm, key, tempo, and instrumentation to which he used to compose, arrange and produce music that would replicate the laboratory results in the form music.
Renown research scientist Masaru Emoto had also worked extensively with an MRA device to analyze and treat patients with various ailments and was familiar with the work Roubik was doing in California. Some of his very first water crystal photographs began with Roubik's music, which were published in his first best seller "Messages from Water." He noticed that there was a clear distinction between good and bad vibrations (also known as "Hado") in the form of water crystallization, and theorized that Roubik's music had indeed held healing properties.
Roubik's music was also used in a double-blind back pain study in the Music Therapy Department at California State University, Northridge, which were positive. Subjects experiencing severe back pain were targeted for this study and felt pain relief during and after a session of listening to Roubik's music.
Below are the resulting images which have been published in several million copies of Dr. Emoto's best-seller books:
