Masaru Emoto
Masaru Emoto was a Japanese researcher known for his work on water consciousness. He proposed that water could be influenced by human thoughts, emotions, words, and music, and that these influences would manifest in the formation of distinct ice crystals when the water was frozen. Emoto's experiments involved exposing water to various stimuli—like spoken words such as "love" or "hate," written messages, or different types of music—and then photographing the resulting water crystals. He claimed that positive stimuli produced beautiful, symmetrical crystals, while negative stimuli resulted in distorted or incomplete patterns.
This is where Alan Roubik's music enters the picture. Roubik is a renowned "healing music" artist and producer whose compositions have been specifically tested and endorsed by an independent research laboratory in Tokyo, based on Masaru Emoto's principles. His music, particularly his Muisc For Your Health Series albums (originally referred to as "Hado Music" in Japan), was reportedly shown to have significant healing properties by affecting the crystalline structure of water in a positive way. These findings were even featured in several of Emoto's books, including Messages From Water Vol. 1 and 2.
The connection between Emoto's theories and Roubik's music suggests that the vibrational qualities of sound, as embodied in Roubik's compositions, can have a tangible impact on water, and by extension, on living beings largely composed of water. Roubik's music, often categorized as New Age with classical and jazz influences, is used by various health professionals, athletes, and spiritual healers, further highlighting its perceived therapeutic qualities in line with Emoto's concepts of water's responsiveness to positive vibrations.
