Learning to read music and play piano can be fun and rewarding with the right teacher. Professional pianist, composer, and award-winning educator Alan Roubik combines classical and modern teaching techniques, personally tailored to each student's abilities, goals, and musical interests.
With nearly 30 years of teaching experience, Alan has helped students of all ages and levels—some of whom have won competitions, appeared as a semi-finalist on America's Got Talent, toured the world with artists such as Toto, and had their music featured in major films including Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Not surprisingly, many of Alan's clients are in the entertainment industry, including Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, French actor Omar Sy, the director of The Voice, voice-over actor Jim Cummings, the director of The Voice, and other entertainment professionals and/or their children.
Whether your goal is simply to enjoy playing piano or to reach the highest level possible, Alan's lessons are designed to make learning engaging, personalized, and fun.
