“We all remember that one teacher—the one who inspired us, believed in us, and made us want to do our best just to make them proud. That’s the kind of teacher I strive to be.
Despite my dyslexia and having had a debilitating injury to the Ulnar nerve of my right hand in high school, I succeeded in becoming a world-renowned pianist, composer and piano teacher because of my passion for music and self-discipline. My goal as a teacher is to help my students realize their potential, encourage and motivate them to practice and explore music throughout their lifetime, and to share what they learn with others." -Alan Roubik
